SSC rips St. Anthony in Milcu caging

MANILA, Philippines — San Sebastian overpowered School of Saint Anthony, 61-46, at the start of the Milcu Sports Basketball Elite Showcase Under-17 tournament at Lyceum gym recently.

Harry Avan shot 21 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Staglets, who dominated from start to finish in the tournament organized by Got Skills and Gamboa Sports and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

Trinity University of Asia downed MGC New Life Christian Academy, 67-59, in the other 17-under match in the tournament backed by Gatorade, LGR, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, Basketball TV, and Gerry’s Grill.

In other results, Team Delta turned back University of Batangas, 64-58, while Far Eastern University toppled Colegio of San Benildo-Rizal, 71-53, in the Under-19 bracket of the event supported by Rain or Shine, Honda Cars Greenhills, FMR Bus Services, Coach Athletic Tape, Mighty Sports, Patricio’s Online Sneaker Store and Secret Fresh.
