Iza tanggap na hindi pang-darna

Kahit wala pang asawa ay hindi raw naging problema kay Iza Calzado ang pagganap bilang isang ina sa teleseryeng A Love to Last na pinagbibidahan nina Bea Alonzo at Ian Veneracion. Gumaganap bilang ina ni Julia Barretto ang aktres sa nasabing serye.

“It doesn’t matter. I think that’s the trend now. I know somebody much younger than me pero mother role na rin ang ginagawa to someone na ka-age rin ni Julia. So how can I justify the reasoning that I feel like I’m too old to play the mom of this person. It’s just a role. It doesn’t define who you are as a human being. I just wanna work. If I like the role, it’s good, like in this case, the cast is so good, how could you say no to it,” paliwanag ni Iza.

Samantala, ngayon ay mainit pa ring pinag-uusapan kung sino ang bagong gaganap bilang bagong Darna sa pelikula. Naibahagi ni Iza na inalok din siya noon sa GMA upang gampanan ang nasabing role. “I was asked to be Darna before, even before Angel (Locsin) was asked. Let us not forget that I’ve lost a hundred pounds. My body is not a conventional body. It’s nice kasi I’ve worked for this and I love it, pero it’s not perfect. And Darna has to be perfect. She has to be like Angel Locsin or Anjanette Abayari,” nakangiting pahayag ni dalaga.

Tanggap na tanggap din ni Iza sa kanyang sarili na talagang hindi para sa kanya ang Darna. Hanggang ngayon ay wala pa ring napipili kung sino ang bagong gaganap sa iniwan na role ni Angel Locsin. “It’s not for me, it never was. There are other things for me and I’ve accepted that. It hurt in the beginning but now I know, it is not for me and I would be so happy for the person who will land for the role of Darna. Rest assured it is not me,” pagtatapos ni Iza.

Arjo at Erich close friends na

Mamayang hapon ay mapapanood sa Ipaglaban Mo sina Erich Gozales at Arjo Atayde. Magkasintahan ang ginampanan ng dalawa sa episode ng programa.

Ayon kay Arjo ay noon pa siya nangangarap na makatrabaho ang dalaga. “Honestly speaking, irresistible beauty ang meron si Erich. She’s very beautiful inside and out and getting to work with her, it’s fun. It’s been my dream to work with her ever since Katorse days. I was telling her this on the set, na I’m happy that I got to work with her,” bungad ni Arjo.

Parehong walang kasintahan ngayon ang aktor at si Erich kaya may posibilidad na magkaroon ng espesyal na ugnayan ang dalawa. “Talking about relationship, I think she just got out of a relationship and all that. So I just don’t want to jump into conclusions or whatsoever, but as of now we’re close and really good friends,” giit ni Arjo.
