Navy reigns in Seasports dragonboat races

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Navy stamped its class as it ruled the Open Standard, Mixed Standard and Women’s Small Boat divisions in the 2017 Manila Bay Seasports Festival  along Baywalk, Roxas Blvd. last weekend. 

Among the motorized bancas, Mark Kim Bantilan steered “Patricia” to victory in the Formula race of the event presented by Manila Broadcasting Company and the City of Manila.

Ruben Quero, on board “Angilyn,” bested the tough field to rule the Stock race in the event held in cooperation with Eye Berry, Executive Optical and MyJuiz.
