Baby Falcons to forfeit all UAAP wins after player declared ineligible

The Adamson Baby Falcons celebrate after winning the PSSBC crown over the Chiang Kai Shek College Blue Dragons.

MANILA, Philippines — The UAAP on Wednesday declared Adamson Baby Falcon Encho Serrano ineligible to play this season.

In a statement, the UAAP board said Serrano failed to submit records to prove his status as a high school student.

"With his ineligibility, all the games where Mr. Serrano played are therefore, FORFEITED, in accordance with existing UAAP Rules and Regulations," the statement read.

From the top of the standings with an 11-1 record, the Baby Falcons are now out of title contention with a 0-12 standing.

Defending champions National University Bullpups thus move to the top with an 11-1 card, FEU at second with 10-2 and Ateneo at 9-3.

UST, La Salle-Zobel and UPIS, which are sporting identical 5-7 cards, will play for the last semis spot.
