Power outage to hit Nueva Ecija, Aurora

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines – Parts of Nueva Ecija and Aurora will experience up to nine hours of power interruption on Tuesday.  ??   ??

The 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. power outage will affect customers of the Nueva Ecija Electric Cooperative II Areas 1 and 2 and Aurora Electric Cooperative,” said Ernest Lorenz Vidal, National Grid Corp. of the Philippines-Central Luzon public affairs chief.

These are in the towns of Talavera, Guimba, Quezon, Aliaga, Caranglan, Lupao, Bongabon, and General Natividad and Science City of Munoz in Nueva Ecija, and Dingalan, San Luis, Maria Aurora, Baler, and Dipaculao in Aurora.

The power outage will pave the way for testing of a lightning arrester at the San Luis line metering point at the Cabanatuan substation as well as other maintenance work.
