Azkal striker maglalaro sa S-League

Olmin Leyba - Pang-masa

“Geylang International FC is pleased to announce the signing of Mark Hartmann from Global FC today. Mark will be the first Filipino to play in the S-League. He will be donning jersey No. 16 for Geylang,” pahayag ng Eagles sa kanilang Facebook page noong Biyernes ng gabi.

Pinasalamatan din ng S-League ang Global FC “for their kind assistance in the true spirt of ASEAN Cooperation to ensure the successful completion of this transfer.”

“It’s no secret that we are lacking a proper target man who can hold the ball up and score goals,” wika ni Geylang coach Hasrin Jailani sa Singapore-based na ESPN FC noong nakaraang linggo habang hindi pa nila nahuhugot si Hartmann.

“From what I see in training so far, Mark is a typical no. 9 striker who knows where the goal is. He has a great physique to lead the line,” dagdag pa nito.

Ayon kay Hartmann, maganda na ang kondisyon ng kanyang tuhod “and now expects to be good to go after one month.”
