“He’s never pulled out of Gilas. As he’s to work to regain his strength, he wants to know the window period Gilas is giving him to catch up,” sabi kahapon ni Marvin Espiritu, ang agent/handler ni Lassiter.
“Once cleared by his doctor, that’s the only time he’ll start running. It might be pointless for Marcio to fly to Europe. That’s why he wants to know when is the earliest and the latest he’s allowed to rejoin Gilas,” dagdag pa ni Espiritu sa Fil-Am gunner.
“We’re in talks with Butch and we await words from him. He’s conferring with coach Tab. As of now, it’s status quo,” sabi ni Espiritu.
Ang Final 14 na inihayag ng Gilas Pilipinas ay sina naturalized center Andray Blatche, June Mar Fajardo ng San Miguel, Japeth Aguilar at LA Tenorio ng Barangay Ginebra, Marc Pingris ng Star Hotshots), Terrence Romeo ng Globalport, Calvin Abueva ng Alaska, Jeff Chan at Gabe Norwood ng Rain or Shine, Ranidel De Ocampo, Troy Rosario, Jayson Castro at Ryan Reyes ng Talk ‘N Text at Bobby Ray Parks, Jr. ng Gilas Cadets pool.
