VIRAL: 'Carrot man' lands first endorsement deal
MANILA, Philippines — Jeyrick Sigmaton a.k.a. "Carrot Man," just bagged his first endorsement deal.
A photo of the social media heartthrob posing for a local brand is currently making rounds on social media. And apparently, he is wearing not just any clothes, but clothes made by Asia's most influential designer Avel Bacudio.
Bacudio, a Filipino fashion mogul recognized worldwide, is giving back to the industry by mentoring and training rising artists in the world of fashion design. He has been dressing the likes of Alden Richards, Kris Aquino, KC Concepcion and Matteo Guidicelli, who are all part of the brand that Sigmaton is endorsing.
Sigmaton was catapulted to fame last year after a tourist posted on Facebook, photos of him carrying baskets of vegetables. Since, then the public has been charmed by his good looks, even comparing him to Korean stars like Lee Min Ho and Jerry Yan. He has also been invited to guest for several TV shows, during which he mentioned that he hopes his discovery will be of help to him and his family. - Alixandra Caole Vila
