Leonard kumayod sa panalo ng Spurs

SAN ANTONIO – Maski ang hindi paglalaro nina starters LaMarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan at Danny Green ay hindi nakaapekto sa Spurs.

Kumolekta si Kawhi Leonard ng 25 points at 13 rebounds at nagdag-dag si Manu Ginobili ng 22 points sa kanyang pagbabalik matapos ang isang injury para pagbidahan ang 104-94 panalo ng San Antonio kontra sa Sacramento Kings.

Ipinoste ng Spurs ang malinis na 30-0 record sa kanilang balwarte.

Ito ang kanilang pang-walong sunod na ratsada sa regular season at pinalawig ang kanilang franchise record start sa 53-9 bagama’t hindi naglaro sina Aldridge,  Duncan at Green.

Ipinahinga sina Duncan at Green at si Aldridge ay may migraine.

Galing naman si Ginobili sa 12-game absence matapos sumailalim sa isang testicle surgery noong Feb. 5.

Humakot si DeMarcus Cousins ng 31 points sa panig ng Kings.

Sa Cleveland, tumipa si LeBron James ng 28 points at nalampasan si Duncan sa NBA career scoring list para tulungan ang Cavaliers sa 120-103 panalo laban sa Boston Celtics.

“He’s the greatest power forward of all time. If not one of the greatest of all time, period,” sabi ni James kay Duncan. “I got so many different stories and so many different things and situations that have been linked to him and we’ve been linked together. Even though he’s a few years older than me, we just stayed linked and I just think what he’s done for this league and what he’s done for the Spurs organization and what he represents is something you can kind of look towards if you ever kind of get sidetracked.”
