Ella Pangilinan makes every body look good

I’ve made a promise to myself to become  healthier and fitter so I’ve started exercising.  I want to buy clothes for working out. The imported brands are too expensive. Can you recommend where I can buy nice leggings and sports bras?

Hooray to commiting to working out! That’s a great resolution and it’s good you’re starting as early as now. It’s important to invest in the right workout clothes. Good design and quality will allow you to move well while giving the chest the support a woman needs. To me, it’s equally vital that the designs or colors excite me because fashionable workout gear is a good motivator. 

I recently discovered that Ella Pangilinan started her own line of workout wear. Hailing from a family of fitness enthusiasts with parents Anthony and Maricel Laxa Pangilinan, Ella is a fitness buff herself.  Frustrated she couldn’t find nice workout clothes and that the imported ones were too expensive, she designed her own line. I’m not a fan of loud colors so what drew me to her designs was how she was able to make chic, versatile neutrals like black and gray so interesting! The sports bras feature pleated details, mesh, and criss-cross wrap around designs. The leggings are my favorite! She injected strappy designs on the calf area, and the wide waistband is so puson-friendly and slimming! I love that the material, design, and price points are so good.

Bye-bye, dry skin

DEAR LUCY,

I have dry and sensitive skin and when I use moisturizer, I just super break out.

I am also looking for lip color that is the shade of brick, not too orange and not too red either. Just right. Any recommendatons?

I am in love with Marula Facial Oil. This used to be available abroad only and I used to hoard it. But now, it is available at SM Beauty. It is pure oil, cold pressed from the Marula nut, which grows from a tree in Africa. Because it is very pure, it is luscious on the skin, and a fountain of youth in itself. I use it daily, before makeup as a moisturizer and at night, too. I especially love using it on days when I go bare-faced — just the Marula Facial Oil and lipstick at the most.

For the lip color you need, I would recommend MAC lip pencil in Chicory. It is a beautiful brick color. I have been using it for years.
