WATCH: PeopleAsia magazine honors Women of Style and Substance 2014

MANILA, Philippines – Lifestyle magazine PeopleAsia celebrates the country's most accomplished women this year during its Women of Style and Substance event.

Actress Alice Dixson and singer-actress Toni Gonzaga lead the Women of Style and Substance 2014 awardees, which also include journalist Kara David and beauty queens Bea Rose Santiago, Bianca Guidotti, Mary Jean Lastimosa, and Yvethe Santiago.

Given yearly by PeopleAsia magazine, the recognition is meant to honor women who “do not sacrifice style for substance, and vice versa.”

Past awardees include Gretchen Barretto, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Bernadette Sembrano, Annette Gozon-Abrogar, and Sen. Grace Poe.
