Blackwater holds tryouts for PBA rookies, aspirants

MANILA, Philippines - Blackwater Sports will hold two days of tryouts next week as it gears up for its much-awaited entry in the PBA in the coming season.

Free agents and rookie aspirants, according to coach Leo Isaac, are most welcome to join the tryouts slated on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the SGS gym on Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.

The Dioceldo Sy-owned Blackwater is determined to put up a competitive team in order to make a noise right on its maiden season in the pro league.

Blackwater Sports is one of the three teams accepted by the PBA for its 40th season that will kick off this October.
