Grand Lotto prize seen to hit P119 M

MANILA, Philippines - The jackpot for the 6/55 Grand Lotto is expected to reach P119 million for tomorrow’s draw after no one hit the winning combination Wednesday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

PCSO chairman Jose Ferdinand Rojas II said at least 46 players won P40,600 each after guessing the six-digit combination for Wednesday’s draw, 11-28-08-33-24-14, which had a jackpot of P112.8 million.

Rojas added that ticket sales for the game jumped from an average of P20 million per draw to P33 million for Wednesday’s draw.
