US 7th Fleet Band at Robinsons Malls
MANILA, Philippines - The US 7th Fleet Band (photo) returns to Robinsons Malls with a series of performances today starting at 6 p.m. at the Padre Faura Atrium, Robinsons Place Manila and tomorrow, March 21, 6 p.m. at the Activity Area of Robinsons Galleria.
Formed in 1943 with the establishment of the US 7th Fleet, the band has toured the Western Pacific with performances here in the Philippines and other Asian countries including Japan, Republic of Korea, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, to mention a few.
The band, composed of professional Navy Musicians, will play classical music and military marches, brass and percussion, jazz and funk and crowd-pleasing rock ’n roll.
