Travel show ni Aga babu na rin!

Bagama’t nalulungkot si Aga Muhlach sa recent decision ng TV5 to stop muna the airing temporarily of Pinoy Explorer which proved his talent, aniya as a TV host, he agrees na in need ang programa to new possibilities which make it even more interesting and educational to its viewers.

Anyways, aniya, he has Let’s Ask Pilipinas, another program in the Kapatid Network, he hosts on weekdays, which is not just doing the ratings, obvious na nage-gain pa ng good reviews ito not just from the audience but from some critics as well.

Aga has just arrived with his twins Atasha and Andres from the US. But he will soon leave again to fetch Charlene na naiwan doon with her mom, Elvie Gonzales.

He has to come home, Aga said, para maka-advance taping for Let’s Ask Pilipinas.

Still trying to lose weight, he, too is looking forward to reunite with Lea Salonga in a movie that Star Cinema will produce and Rory Quintos will direct.

It will be their third team-up if ever. The first one was Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal? with Joey Javier Reyes at the helm. And Sana Maulit Muli with Olive Lamasan naman as director.

Direk Olive matagal sinundan ang in the name…

Speaking of Direk Olive Lamasan, her last directorial job was with In The Name of Love, if we remember it right.

That was three years ago. The film for both its lead stars, Aga and Angel Locsin, got them best acting trophies for their respective performances.

Well, how nice to hear that Star Cinema will soon release the latest work of Direk Olive, Starting Over Again, starring together for the first time sina Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga.

Also in the movie is Iza Calzado.

The film, based on its trailer alone, is both a potential box-office hit and award winner.

A Valentine offering of Star Cinema, it’s set to open Feb. 12 in theaters nationwide.

Janella Salvador gusto ring makasama si Daniel

Like Julia Barretto, whose parents are former actress Marjorie Barretto and comedian-actor Dennis Padilla, Janella Salvador, popularly known as the elder of two daughters of Ser Chief (Richard Yap), also has parents for celebrities. Sila ay sina singer Juan Miguel Salvador and singer-actress Jenine Desiderio.

Jenine is also known as one of the Filipino performers na nakasama sa presentation ng Miss Saigon during its West End run sa London, England.

Isa rin sa mga pinag-uusapan ang commercial ni Janella for a brand of shampoo.

Given the right break, puwedeng maging big star din si Janella, tulad ng mga kaedad niyang sina Kathryn Bernardo at Julia.

Her dream is to do a project with Daniel Padilla, her favorite young actor.

More than just having celebrities for parents, like Julia and Janella, si Daniel ay anak naman nina Karla Estrada at Rommel Padilla. Daniel belongs to a showbiz clan talaga.
