Ex-Army soldier kills three men in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines - Police investigators are tracking down a retired Army soldier who shot dead three persons in Palar Village in Barangay Pinagsama, Taguig City last Thursday.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as retired Army soldier Diosdado Baltan.

Killed in the incident were Tyrol Mortos, Enrique Goco and Ronald Mabonga, all employees of the Inner Port Water Distributor.

Investigators said the suspect allegedly got irked after he failed to settle his bills from the water firm that employed the victims.

Reports reaching the SPD said the shooting happened at about 9 a.m. at Mt. Apo Extension.

Police said the three victims were declared dead on arrival at the Ospital ng Makati.

The SPD said Baltan fled after the incident.
