OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

A gathering of the country’s top dermatologists took place at the luxurious Rigodon Ballroom of The Peninsula Manila for the unveiling of the newest innovations in the field of skin care — the Enlighten Trio by NeoStrata.

This momentous event, sponsored by D’Mark MultiSales Corp. led by its gorgeous managing director Nikki Tang, featured the latest product line of the New Jersey-based dermatological company that focuses on anti-aging and promotes bright and even skin tone. Gracing the affair were three of NeoStrata’s top honchos namely CEO Mark Steele, VP for international business development Leigh Ann Catlin and executive director of international markets Catherine Mueller. They were all flown in from the US especially for this occasion.

Everyone enjoyed the sumptuous food prepared by the hotel’s culinary experts, perfectly complemented by the exquisite wines served all throughout the night. Guests were in for an exciting treat as three top-of-the-line smartphones were raffled off during the course of the program.

A delicious evening at Café d’Asie

Having the best buffet selection in the city means catering to a diverse group of food aficionados. The task seems to be an easy one to accomplish for Café d’Asie, the topnotch main dining outlet of The Bellevue Manila, as it continues to attract a huge following of food enthusiasts.

The noted guests got to sample the enticing selection of delectable dishes prepared by the restaurant’s seasoned chefs — special hors d’oeuvres delicately made with lobster, Black Sea scallops, French goose liver, micro greens and light raspberry black truffle vinaigrette started the evening’s degustation menu, which was then followed by a rich Cream of Roast Butternut Squash Soup, a succulent Herb Crusted Chilean Seabass, a mouthwatering Slow-Roasted Veal Tenderloin with Asparagus Spears in Glazed Shallots in a Port Wine Reduction, and for the perfect sweet ending, The Bellevue Manila’s signature “Tamila Cake” — a lemon-flavored sponge cake — plus Swiss Truffle Chocolates. Add to that the impeccable service delivered by The Bellevue Manila’s highly-efficient staff and you have yourself a night that would forever be remembered.

Truly, everyone can expect a one-of-a-kind dining experience only at Café d’Asie.
