Filipino bred Boxer dog wins top prize in US
CEBU, Philippines — A Filipino bred and owned boxer, American grand champion Tybrushe Livin’ On the Edge of X-Cellence called Ridge, bagged the top prize (Best of Breed) during the American Boxer Club (ABC) 2024 National Show at the Indianapolis East Marriott in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States of America recently.
Organized by the ABC headed by its president Bridgette Brown, the annual show showcasing the best boxers in America has attracted more than 300 entries that were judged by Sharon Steckler.
Handled by Michael Shepherd, Ridge is owned by Dennis and Barbara Tan (X-Cellence Boxers) of Cebu City.
“Thank you very much ABC for a very memorable moment for us! We will cherish this forever,” the Tan couple posted on their Facebook page.
In December last year, Ridge also won Best of Breed in the AKC Royal Canin Cup in Orlando, Florida. He was also Select Dog at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in New York City a week ago. – EBV
