Lodi Pitmalu completes 6-0 sweep in Amicis caging
CEBU, Philippines — The rampaging Lodi Pitmalu annihilated the Golden Eagle, 116-60, to seal a six-game elimination round sweep in the 30-above division of the Amicis Basketball League (ABL) Season 3 at the Cansaga gym in Consolacion.
Ariel Gocong fired 33 points while Paul Ducay and John Paul Dugenio added 12 points apiece for Lodi Pitmalu, which topped Bracket B with a perfect 6-0 record.
In sharp contrast, the Golden Eagle crashed to its fifth straight loss in as many starts.
On the other hand, Danilo Ponce erupted for 46 points as YYBC spanked Lord Vincent, 107-97.
Francis Patrimonio and Gicole Iyong conspired for 37 points for YYBC, which is now tied with its victim with similar 2-3 cards.
In Bracket A, the Artera Builders stayed unbeaten in four games with a 94-82 thrashing of SG5 Madison.
Romar Ponce paced Artera with 15 points while Warren Canete and Jhoe Bustos chipped in 21 combined points.
