Cebuana gymnast shines in Greece
CEBU, Philippines — Daniela Reggie Dela Pisa proved that she is worthy to be included in the national team after grabbing a gold, two silver and one bronze medals in the Royal Crown 3rd International Rhythmic Gymnastics the other day in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Dela Pisa skipped this year’s Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) and the Palarong Pambansa in Davao to train with the national team for the Southeast Asian Games.
She got a gold in the senior division’s clubs, a silver each in the ball and ribbon and bronze in the hoop apparatus.
The former University of the Visayas athletes, who is now in Bright Academy also ranked second overall.
Dela Pisa said that her main goal is to represent the country well in the upcoming SEA Games in November. (FREEMAN)
