Cebuano booters vie for top honors in Regional FoF

CEBU, Philippines — A bunch of young but promising Cebuano booters hope to duplicate their winning ways as they battle it out in this year’s Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Regional Festival of Football today in San Carlos City.

 

The Cebu Football Association (CFA) is fielding in a complete cast in the boys under 12 and 14 and girls under 13 and 15.

Team Cebu is composed of players from different schools and clubs that have big potentials of making it to the national team.

Dino Musni will coach the boys 12 squad assisted by Bryan Eborda, while Martin Ferrer and Epefanio Ygot will call the shots for the under 14.

Coaches Melan Bordalba and Eunice Bayotas that handle the girls under 13, while Binky Estrada and Sheila Garces will mentor the girls 15.

The Cebuanos will go up against the best age-groupers from Negros Oriental, Iloilo and Negros Occidental.

The Regional FOF is a grassroots and youth program of the PFF with the active participation of the regional FAs and coaches.
