TCC dominates Buglasan swimfest

CEBU, Philippines — Team Cebu City tankers hauled 35 gold, 32 silver and 31 bronze medals to rule the 4th Buglasan Swimming Festival over the weekend in Dumaguete City.

TCC swimmers of coach Lando Alvarez posted 931 points followed by Negros Oriental Blue Dolphins with 625 points, while Dipolog Aqua Warriors Swim Team settled for third with 468 points.

It was TCC’s second successful campaign in Dumaguete City after topping the Silliman University Founder’s Day Meet.

Before making waves in Buglasan, TCC also won the overall title in the Mayor JQ Kiddie Splash in Compostela last March followed by a dominating performance in the Sandugo Novice and Competitive Age-Group Swimming Meet last July in Bohol.
