Cataraja topbills IDOL 3 slugfest
CEBU, Philippines — The unbeaten ALA Gym power-hitter Kevin Jake “KJ” Cataraja is out to dazzle his hometown fans in Tabuelan as he headlines the “IDOL 3” boxing spectacle presented by ALA Promotions in partnership with Island Paints on June 16 at the Tabuelan Astrodome.
Cataraja, sporting a 7-0 card spiked with six knockouts, will lock up horns with Frengy Rohi of Indonesia in a non-title match scheduled for 10 rounds under the flyweight division.
The other match-ups to watch out for feature Virgel Vitor of Tagbilaran City, and Christian Bacolod and Jimmy Paypa both from Cebu City.
Vitor will go up against Gerpaul Valero of Mandaue City, Bacolod will face off with Marvin Lulu of Sultan Kudarat, while Paypa will tackle Jun Ryan Quimbo of Carmen.
The rest of the bouts pit Esneth Domingo of Sultan Kudarat vs Ryan Makiputin of Bukidnon; Justin Darap of Calbayog City vs Elmer Liboon; and JR Villafuerte of Hinobaan, Negros Occidental vs Tomas Rebusit.
