Bolongan bags April title in BTA monthly

CEBU, Philippines - Luke Bolongan outlasted Dory Enoveso to rule the April edition of the Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) Prima monthly tournament the other day at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

Bolongan downed 1,246 pinfalls for the victory. He edged Enoveso, who collected 1,199 pins during the six-game series.

Luther Tapaya came out third with 1,192 pinfalls.

Completing the top 10 were Vivian Palawan (1,130), Christopher Garcia (1,121), Bede Ilano (1,111), Bel Suelto Jr. (1,109), Ruel Zuniga (1,107) and Wilbert Yu (1,080).

Bolongan thus joined early qualifiers Clarence Tiu, Arthur Tapaya and Boy Co in the December grand ginals. (FREEMAN)
