Cebu leg of Palawan netfest unfurls today
CEBU, Philippines - The Cebu leg of the Slazenger-sponsored Palawan Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala Regional Tennis Circuit unfolds today at the Consolacion Tennis Club in Laray, Consolacion.
Bogo's pride Jan Godfrey Seno leads the cast of top contenders in the boys divisions, while the likes of
Shyne Villareal, Kristin Salimbangon, Tiffany Nocos, and Zethley Mae Alferez are tipped to shine in the girls category.
The event organizers are also expecting top players from La Carlota, Negros Occidental, Cagayan de Oro, and Zamboanga to come over the strut their wares in the three-day tilt.
“While we expect the favorites to shine, we also see a number of young and new players to emerge given the depth of the competing field,” said Palawan Pawnshop President and CEO Bobby Castro.
After Consolacion, action shifts to Koronadal City in South Cotabato on February 11-15 for the sixth leg of the 52-stage nationwide circuit. (FREEMAN)
