Caecent No-ot Magsumbol - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Omega Pro introduces their strongest triathlon team  led by seasoned triathletes in Paul Jumamil, Banjo Norte and Kristiane Lim.

All three of them came from Alaska TriAspire, the country's most respected triathlon team.

"Three of us came from Visayas and Mindanao and we train in Manila but with Omega Pro, we get a chance to be based at our own home and it’s such a great opportunity to be representing your own place," said Lim during a press conference yesterday at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

Aside from them, Omega Pro also brought in Cianyl Jamae Gonzalez who is originally from Parklane Triathlon Team. There are also three holdovers in the elite line-up in the likes of husband and wife Mendel and Lorhiz Lopez and Welmar Saavedra.

Omega Pro has also included 20 triathletes in the team. They will be competing under the age-group categories.

Omega Pro’s bet in the men’s division will be  Franz Baguio, Johnny Ferniz, Alton and Enzo Amor, Sean Yu, Chris Capistrano, Ryan Capuno, Steve Cortez, Renier Englis, Allistair Patino, Jude Baguio, Jezryl Villarete, Jeffrey Codino and Fr. Joseph Larida.

In the distaff side, Omega Pro will be represented by Lorna Amor, Feelin Torres, Rachel Rae Ngo and Rachel Cabrera.

The team will be managed by Paul Jake Castillo while Tonyson Lee has  been named as marketing manager as Frederick Castaneda remains the team captain.

"We will not stop to where we at before, we want to be the number one team in the country," said Castillo.
