Mayor Radaza moto-x revs off today

CEBU, Philippines - Over a hundred daredevils across the country will vie for top honors as the fourth leg of the 2015 MS Motosuit Motocross Series dubbed as the "1st Mayor Paz Radaza Motocross Cup" revs off today at the parking lot of Gaisano Island Mall in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.

MS Motosuit big boss Lou Ornopia, a one-time 'Sportsman of the Year' awardee by the Sportswriters Association of Cebu, said the top contenders in the one-day joust are Jonjon Adlawan, Jubenile Abellar, John Flores, Dondon Yuzon, Paulo Inoc and the fast-rising BJ Pepito.

Several other vaunted riders Negros, Bohol, Iloilo, Leyte and Mindanao will also be coming over to flaunt their maneuvering skills and electrifying aerial stunts in the race that is among the highlights of Lapu-Lapu’s annual fiesta celebration in honor of their beloved patroness Virgen de la Regla (Virgin of the Rule).

The categories to be contested are the mini 60cc and 85cc, beginners, local enduro, open enduro, executive A, B and C, novice, intermediate, expert and the premiere pro opens. There will also be an underbone competition.

Co-organized by Barangay Captain Isabelito Darnayla, the event is fully supported by the city government of Lapu-Lapu under the flagship of Mayor Paz Radaza in association with Congresswoman Aileen Radaza.— EBV (FREEMAN)
