Sinulog bootfest on today

CEBU, Philippines - The first football tournament of the year unfolds this morning via the 5th Sinulog Football Festival at the San Roque Parish field in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

A total of 130 teams spread in different categories will see action in the two-day tilt sanctioned and organized by the Cebu Football Association.

Leading the cast of contenders are Don Bosco Technology Center, Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, Paref-Springdale and the University of San Carlos.

The age groups to be contested are the under-9, 11, 13, 15, 18 and 38-above.

There's also the men's open, inter-BPO and inter-company.
