All set for Yaw-Yan Foot Boxing tourney
CEBU, Philippines – Philippine Taijutsu Yaw-Yan Foot Boxing League will stage a no-holds barred Invitational kickboxing tournament tomorrow night at the Alegria Sports Complex.
Taijutsu Yaw-Yan Supreme Grandmaster Julio Villaflores said that the action-packed tournament is aimed in promoting the sport of foot boxing and scout for talents in Visayas.
In the main attraction, hometown fighter Johnny Legaria of Alegria will duke it out with Clark Dingding of Lapu-Lapu City.
In a special bout, veteran kickboxer Rene Noblefranca of Talisay City will battle Virgil Abiada of Lapu-Lapu City.
The rest of the card features Reynante Boctot of Sibonga, Cebu vs Anthony Abcena of Mandaue City, Jayson Nicart of Talisay City vs Dave Ivan Sunugan of Maasin City and Jessie Boysis of Talisay City vs Elmer Roser of Maasin City.
Six more pairs of kickboxers will add spice in the undercards of this event supported by Municipality of Alegria. (FREEMAN)
