CEBU, Philippines – Manila Southwoods Masters pulled the rug from under hot favorite Cebu Country Club team A to bag its fourth straight overall crown in the 9th Philippine Airlines Ladies Interclub at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Pardo, Cebu City Saturday.

Manila Southwoods Masters fired a total of 561 points on rounds of 274 and 287 points to escape by the skin of their teeth.

Cebu Country Club-A finished with 560 points on rounds of 281 and 279 to take second place while taking third is Del Monte Golf Club of Bukidnon with 498 points (249-249).

Host Alta Vista tried to do a final push on the second and final round, but fell short and finished fourth in the premiere Championship division with 487 points (228-259).

Sofia Angela Legaspi led the final day surge of Manila Southwoods Masters with 52 points and got ample support from Maria Annika Cedo and Maria Sofia Chabon with 51 points apiece.
