CEBU, Philippines – Marc Norman and Norman Joseph Enriquez, both varsity players from the University of the Visayas, etched their names in stone after becoming the first ever brothers to dominate their respective classes at the same time in tennis singles event of the 2014 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Incorporated season the other day at Citgreen Tennis Resort in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.

Marc Norman rammed his way to an 8-4 victory over Gabriel Riconalla of the University of San Carlos to lord it over in the men's collegiate division, while his younger brother Norman Joseph outlasted Marc Suson of the University of Cebu, 8-5, to snare the championship in the secondary boys singles. Aside from being UV mainstays, they also both honed their skills at the Pardo Tennis Club.

Kezia Jabines of USC and Kara Salimbangon of Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu caught part of the spotlight with their masterful performances. Jabines subdued Juvilyn Barquin of UV, 8-4, to clinch the women's singles tiara, while Salimbangon easily dispatched Sheena Camporedondo of UV, 8-2, to reign supreme in the secondary girls.
