Ginebra battles Meralco as Cebu-Leyte Cup winds up today in Mandaue
CEBU, Philippines – The Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings and the Meralco Bolts will take centerstage as the Cebu-Leyte Cup charity basketball tournament winds up today at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.
The Gin Kings will touch down the floor against the Bolts at 6 p.m., while the Barako Bull Energy Cola will mix it up with Goldstar Hardware of Davao in the opening match.
Meralco and Goldstar Hardware were still slugging it out against Barako Bull and Samsam Gullas-Panalay Tailoring, respectively, at presstime last night. If they both emerged victorious, that will turn their 4 p.m. encounter today into a championship match.
