KN Ferraren bags 2 titles in BRO bootfest
CEBU, Philippines - Team KN Ferraren clinched two titles in the end of the 3rd BRO Nationals Football Festival at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City yesterday.
KN Ferraren booters bounced back from all of their misfortunes in the previous tournaments scoring a double victory in the men’s open and executive 45 division.
The football team from Consolacion had a tough time winning the men’s title as they went on a thrilling penalty shootout in which they outpointed University of Cebu -Korean, 3-2 in the semis before shutting down CIS booters, 2-0 in the finals.
In the executive 45, KN Ferraren beat ERCO FC to snatch the crown. ERCO FC bounced back in the ladies open with a 4-3 triumph over Don Bosco Ladies, 4-3 via penalty shootout.
The Bosconians won the boys’14 title over Dynamo FC, Abellana National School topped the boys'16 anew over Don Bosco while Warshockz ruled the mixed 12-under over Talisay Razkals as CVIRAA lorded it over boys'18 over Hiroshi.
San Roque dominated the girls'18 beating UP Cebu Team G2000 in the finals. — (FREEMAN)
