“Takbo Alay sa Kalikasan” slated April 27
CEBU, Philippines - The Student Catholic Action of the Philippines will stage a fund raising event in “Takbo Alay sa Kalikasan†on April 27 starting at the Plaza Independencia and will end at the South Road Properties grounds.
The race will feature the 3 kilometer, 5K and 10K categories.
Proceeds of the running event will go to the Earth Keepers Project, an event that promotes green environment.
The top three finishers of 5K and 10K will receive cash prizes and a finisher’s medal for the 10k while the 3k category is purely a fun run.
Entry fee is pegged at P300 for the 3K, P350 for the 5K and P400 for the 10K, inclusive of singlet, race bib and certificates to all runners.
Registration is now going on at the RUNNR in Ayala Center Cebu, University of San Jose Recoletos Basak campus ministry office. Deadline for registrations is on April 24. Michelle P. Catipay, CNU Intern (FREEMAN)
