CEBU, Philippines - It's green and go for the annual summer clinic of  Yaw-Yan Ardigma Martial Arts Federation, Inc. on April 1 at the Yaw-Yan Headquarters situated at the 4th floor of Coast Pacific Downtown Center just across the UC-Main Campus along Sanciangko Street, this city.

The famed Filipino martial arts will once again conduct clinics especially for students with summer peeking around the corner.

“Students will be on vacation and this would be the great chance for them to spend a quality time in learning Yaw-Yan,” said Yaw-Yan ArDigma Cebu CEO/Founder and Vis-Min director Master Benigno "Ekin" R. Caniga  Jr.

Yaw-Yan Ardigma is an all-out martial arts using the body as a weapon. It trains the students in different areas of teaching punches, kicks, head butts, elbows and knees to take down, and ground fighting techniques. It is effective in the ring as it is on the streets.

"Aside from learning the discipline of our very own Filipino martial arts, the summer clinic will be a good way for the kids to develop a high self-esteem and cultivate the power of  their  mind, body and spirit," added Caniga.

Other courses offered in the month-long camp include arnis, boxing fitness, Yaw-Yan combat for self-defense, Yaw-Yan ArDigma system and Mixed Martial Arts.

“MMA has been very popular to teenagers because of Ultimate Fighting Championship and in this clinic, we will teach them the basic of the sport,” added Caniga.

Registration is still going on at the Yaw-Yan ArDigma gym. For further information, interested parties may contact 0906-5120888 or log on to www.yaw-yanardigma.com.  (FREEMAN)
