ALA Sinulog boxfest tonight

CEBU, Philippines - ALA Boxing Gym upstart Rolando ‘Momoy’ Servania (5-0, 1KO) hopes to keep his unbeaten record intact as he battles Dingdong ‘The Fantasy Warrior’ Quiñones (3-7, 1KO) in the main event of ALA Boxing and Fitness Gym's "Sinulog Boxing at the Mall" tonight at the Gaisano Countrymall carpark in Brgy.  Servania will take on Quiñones in a six-round bantamweight bout.

Rolando, the younger brother of WBO Intercontinental super bantamweight champion Genesis "Azukal" Servania, won by lopsided unanimous decision over Marlon Macaya in his previous bout last December 10 at the Bacolod Bay Center in his hometown Bacolod City.

Servania also topbilled ALA's annual Sinulog offering last year, winning his pro debut against Joyjoy Formentera.

Aside from the Servania-Quiñones duel, three other pro bouts will be featured in the slambang event that will surely treat the Fiesta Señor revelers to one night of fistic entertainment.

Former Cuban amateur standout Reymi Castellano Aleye (2-0, 1KO) will slug it out with Rodel Wenceslao (7-6, 2KOs) of Mandaue City, Jonas Sultan will mix it up with Marlon Macayan, while Jess Rhey Waminal will tackle Jerome Baja.
