All set for 22nd Erne Jawad tablenetfest
CEBU, Philippines - The 22nd edition of Erne Jawad Memorial Table Tennis Championships will take place on August 31 to September 1 at the Cebu City Sports Center.
More players are expected to join in the annual tournament this year with the addition of the team event in the elementary level.
Event organizer Jessica Jawad-Honoridez said she decided to add team competition among elementary participants so that they can build up trust and confidence in themselves as young as they are.
The two-day tilt also features the men's and women's 18-under and the open division.
Registration fee is pegged at P150 for the singles event, with the first 100 getting a souvenir shirt, and P800 per team.
This early, teams from Bohol and Bacolod City have already signed up for Cebu's longest existing table tennis joust. (FREEMAN)
