PTT 2005 nails first win in CECABA

EBV - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Kristoffer Dennis Lee netted 18 points and Kent Benedict Uy added 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals as PTT 2005 downed Young Builders '91, 52-45, to finally barge into the win column in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association's 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup last Tuesday night at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

After taking a shaky 21-18 lead at halftime, Class 2005 fought steadier the rest of the way to tame Class '91 and snap out of its seven-game losing skid.

Juan Borromeo, Jr. chalked up 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists for Class '91, which suffered its eighth loss against only two victories.

Earlier, Joseph Aljhune Areja pumped in 23 points on top of five rebounds, four assists and three steals as Best World Lifestyle 2004 grilled Argentina Corned Beef '83/87/90, 71-61, to improved its record to 4-3.
