CEBU, Philippines - This year's edition of the Cebu Inter-Club Football Cup scheduled on May 18-26 will be played in three venues - the Cebu City Sports Center and the Aboitiz Sports Field and San Roque field both in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

The organizing Cebu Amateur Football Club (CAFC)-Queen City United (QCU) has already sent invitations to the different football teams in the country so that they will be informed ahead of time.

“We are inviting top football teams/ clubs all over the country to showcase their talents and skills. This annual event is considered as one of the biggest soccer tournaments outside of Manila,” said CAFC president Greg Balsicas III.

The organizers, however, have set a limit of only 10 teams in each division featured in the week-long tournament sanctioned by the Cebu Football Association (CFA).

The categories to be contested are the men's and ladies open, 40-above, boys and girls 18 and 15-under, boys 13 and 11-under, and the mixed 11-under.

Except for the 11-under division, the rest of the teams are allowed to field in a maximum of 25 players.

Entry fee is pegged at P5,000 for the men’s open and 40-above, P1,500 for the ladies open, P1,000 for the 11-under, and P1,200 for the rest of the age groups.

The men's open champion will receive P40,000, while the first runner-up will get P10,000. The top winner in the 40-above class will pocket P10,00, while the medals will be given to the rest of the top performers.
