New Millennium Hardware logs fourth win in CECABA

CEBU, Philippines - New Millennium Hardware '95 blasted First ACY Shipping 2006, 65-34, to earn a piece of the overall lead in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball Association's 12th Dr. Chen Lieh Fu Memorial Cup last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Donald Anthony Ting churned out 15 points on top of five assists and four steals, while Raymond Gollon banged in 11 points on top of nine rebounds and two assists for Class '95, which now joined the First Family Appliance Circle '96 atop the leaderboard on identical 4-0 records.

Class '95 led by only two after the first 10 minutes of play, 12-10, but used a crippling 20-4 rally to rip the game apart at halftime, 32-14.

Alvin Dave Miranda Sy was the lone double-digit scorer for Class 2006, which slumped further down the cellar without win in four starts, so far.

In the other game,  Paul Timothy So came up with an awesome triple-double show of 12 points, 16 rebounds and 12 assists as 3R Audio '98 whipped Wild Rice 2007, 74-55, to improve its win-loss record to 3-2. Class 2007 fell to 0-2.

It was Rex Millan, however, who topscored for Class '98 with 30 points and five rebounds followed by Erick Andrew So with 17 markers on top of 13 rebounds.
