Slo-Pitch softball tourney at ASF
CEBU, Philippines - A dozen teams will see action in the Cebu Slo-Pitch Softball League set to kick off this Saturday at the Aboitiz Sports Field (ASF) in Brgy. Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
The contending squads are Fastball, Bandidos, Flamingos, Knights, Enerzone, VECO, Pirates, San Remigio, FB/Aztecs, Master Batters, Swingers and OutKast.
The two-day tilt features the premiere and co-ed categories.
Four teams will slug it out for top honors in the premiere class namely Fastball, Bandidos, Flamingos and Enerzone.
On the other hand, the eight contenders in the co-ed division have been divided into two groups.
The Swingers, Master Batters, VECO and Pirates are in group A, while FB/Aztecs, Knights, San Remigio and Outkasts are in group B.
The annual event is spearheaded by Cebuano batted sports patron Jesse Bernad of Fastball. (FREEMAN)
