Don Bosco booters hand USPF first loss

CEBU, Philippines - The Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) tamed erstwhile leader University of the Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), 2-0, to grab the solo lead in high school football of the 12th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (CESAFI) at the Cebu City Sports Center.

Don Bosco, the defending champion, now sports a 2-0 record to relegate USPF to second place with a 2-1 slate.

The Bosconians prevailed in the clash of undefeated teams with goals from Neil Ryan Bono at the fifth and Vincent Lobitos at the 44th.

USPF had offensive opportunities in the second half, but their efforts went for naught as DBTC stepped up on its defense. (FREEMAN)
