CEBU, Philippines - The best and brightest players of the 2012 F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) basketball season will test each other's mettle in the annual Dark vs. Light All-Star Game tonight at the barangay Tisa gym.
Aside from the slam dunk contest and 3-point shootout, the other side events include the 2-ball competition and the skills challenge.
Junrey Arreglo is back to defend his title as the league's 3-point king. He will be challenged by Arnel Trinidad, Lito Mirasol, Dexter Caballero, Calvert Malicay, Joel Boysillo, Burnong Endrina, Anderson Haincadto and John Lloyd Legunas.
The contestants in the slam dunk contest are Dandan Enriquez, Jaime Atuel, Berto Codilla, Ryan Dacayana, EJohn Fernandez, McLean Alkuino, Kennon Lim and Duke Teves.
Among those who will strut their wares in the 2-ball contest are Lito Sarsaba and Vernic Antiporta of MBD Law Office, Archie Rupal and Raul Cueme of Harold's Hotel, Onyot Masongsong and Adoy Pacana of Simple Likes Barbecue Haus, Henry Sombilon and Owen Barliso of Marty Pimentel Customs Brokerage, Edot Fernandez and Michael Palo of GCM, Takli Abella and Danny Canete of Benedict Wilson Guy and Arnel Macachor of Evoo Resto Bar, Norman and de la Corta and Tope Lavandero of Tupas Bicycle Center, and Porky Pacana and Andrew Pacubas of Vanese Justine.
