P75T at stake in Insurers Green Run
CEBU, Philippines - A total of P75,000 in cash prizes are available to the winners of the Insurers Green Run to be spearheaded by the Cebu Insurers Club, Inc. (CICI) on November 11 starting and ending at the Sumilon Road of Cebu Business Park.
CICI is a cluster of non-life insurance companies with offices operating in Cebu. It extends to include agents, agencies, brokers and loss adjusters.
The champion in the men's and women's 20K battle will pocket P7,000 each, while the second and third will receive P5,000 and P3,000, respectively. Corresponding prizes will also be given away to the rest of top 10 finishers.
The top performers in the 12K and 6K race will get P3,000 and P2,000, the first placer in 3K will earn P1,000, while the fastest runner in the masters (50-above) division will claim P1,500.
Registration fee is pegged at P300 in all categories. Entry forms are available at Runnr in Ayala Center Cebu, Toby’s at SM City-Cebu and in all non-life insurer offices.
The event is an advocacy of CICI to further promote awareness on climate change. Aside from raising awareness on environmental issues, it also aims to encourage insurance practitioners and the general public to have a healthy lifestyle by engaging in running activities.
CICI is currently headed by Neil J. Ceniza of MAPFRE Insular Insurance Corporation.
