CEBU, Philippines - Health-conscious individuals who want to get fitter will have another avenue to attain that goal as the Fit-Fil Movement of celebrated fitness coach Jim Saret will hold the "Coach A Meta-Fit:Metabolic Fitness Camp" starting on September 3 at Parkmall grounds.
"This is part of our continuing efforts to help build a fit and healthy Filipino community," said Fit-Fil Cebu project director Alan G. Choachuy in a press conference yesterday at Dogan Cafe in Persimmon Plus.
The four-week camp is slated on September 3 to October 6. The training session is from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 6 to 8 am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Choachuy said the camp is limited to 70 participants only on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fee is pegged at P1,500, which is good for 12 to 15 sessions.
"Coach Jim Saret has developed a four-minute exercise where one can burn up to 600 calories. This is very good especially to individuals with a very busy schedule," said Choachuy, a 'Biggest Loser' hero and "Ironman" challenger.
Choachuy said they are bent on including in their workout the motion-based fitness games offered at Dogan Cafe.
