Montenegro, Rubi shine in CHEDA darts tourney

CEBU, Philippines - Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Rubi banked on their vast experience to rule the latest edition of the City Hall Employees Darts Association (CHEDA) Open Doubles Tournament at Cocodine, this city.

Montenegro and Rubi had an easy way to the finals, while Roniel Pedroza and Caloy Narita had to go through the losers' bracket first before proceeding to the championship round.

In the finals, Montenegro and Rubi upended Edroza and Narita via a 2-1 decision.

The father-and-son tandem of Bert and Madz Colong wound up third after egding out Arnel Guba and Joselito Abano.
