UC takes on SWU in CESAFI tonight

CEBU, Philippines - Defending champion University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters will go up against the Southwestern University (SWU) Cobras in a rematch of last year's finals highlighting today's lone collegiate match of the 12th Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) men's basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.

This time would be different though for the Webmasters as they no longer have the 6-foot-9 behemoth Junemar Fajardo and reliable gunner Edward Pao, a handicap that makes them the underdog against the Cobras in their 6:45 pm showdown.

The biggest headache of the Webmasters for sure are SWU's Cameroonian twin towers in Justin Aboude and Benoit Mbala, who add more depth and strength for the Cobras at the paint.

The Webmasters' only hope is that they can put up one big fight against the Cobras as they also seek to bounce back from a disappointing 72-89 loss to the undefeated league-leader University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars last week, 72-89.(GGM)(FREEMAN)
