RWS boxers invade Thailand for two championship bouts

CEBU, Philippines - Two promising boxers from the RWS Stable of Cebuano topnotch promoter Rex "Wakee" Salud will figure in two championship bouts in Thailand within the month.

Romnick Magos (7-1) still starts the ball rolling for RWS Stable's Thailand invasion when he battles hometown idol Rusalee Samoh for the IBF Pan-Pacific flyweight crown tomorrow in Bangkok.

Magos' stablemate Fernando Ocon (10-1) will take on the challenge next as he slugs it out with Kwanpichit 13 Rein Express for the WBO Oriental flyweight belt on August 24.

RWS trainer Juanito Ablaca said his wards prepared hard for their upcoming fights and have nothing else in mind than to win.

“We will give them a hard fight. If it goes the distance, I will not expect to win in a foreign land. But if they give it to us, then it will be a great thing for us,” said Ablaca. (PR)(FREEMAN)
