Pimentel Brokers notches first win in FYA hoop

CEBU, Philippines - The Pimentel Customs Brokers of team owner Marty Pimentel beat the Dominic squad by the slimmest of margins, 73-72, to snap of its two-game losing skid in the F. Llamas Youth Association (FYA) basketball tournament at the barangay Tisa gym.

The Pimentel Brokers rode on the heroics of Dexter Caballero, who exploded with 31 points capped by the winning layup in the final 10 seconds of the contest.

Caballero was backed up by Henry Sombilon and Eman Reubal with 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Ranel Patalita led Dominic with 25 points.

 In the other game, the MBD Law Office chalked up its second win at the expense of Tupas Bicycle Center, 87-75.

Dandan Enriquez fired 19 points for MBD Law Office, while Isyot Regudo chipped in 16 markers.

Pangkoy Paracuelles paced Tupas Bicycle Center with 25 points.
