CESAFI football kicks off on Aug. 19
CEBU, Philippines - It's all systems go for the football event of the 12th Cebu Schools Athletics Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) season on August 19 at the Cebu City Sports Center.
A total of 10 teams will see action in the tournament featuring the secondary and tertiary divisions.
Defending champion University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Kicking Jaguars led the cast of competitors in the tertiary level.
The Kicking Jaguars are expected to face tough challenge from last year's runner-up University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), University of the Visayas (UV) Green Booters, and University of Cebu.
On the other hand, Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) is back to defend its title in the secondary action. The other contending squads include USC, USPF, USJ-R and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu. - THE FREEMAN
